Lauzon Hardwood is the materialization of the dream and vision David Lauzon had in 1985, as a young man walking the woods of the Outaouais region north-east of Montreal, in Quebec, Canada.
From a small initial investment of a few thousand dollars, the company has grown to become a North American leader in supplying homeowners, designers, builders, and wood specialists with premium product.
Lauzon is still a family-run company deeply rooted in the Canadian forest. It is vertically integrated from forest to finished products, operates the largest hardwood sawmill in North America, and counts on a team of 500 passionate and dedicated people to responsibly harvest Canadian timber and transform it from logs to lumber to become quality wood flooring, high energy wood pellets or prime raw material for the furniture industry.
